In this paper, we report a designed ,fabricated, and measured results of a Ka-band rectifier. To increase the total system efficiency of the wireless powering system, it is well known to use millimeter-wave band because of the good beam-collecting efficiency. This paper focuses on the rectifier, which is one of a key component of the wireless powering system. As for the Ka-band rectifier, measured RF–DC conversion efficiency and output DC power at 35.8 GHz (15 dBm) are 25.5% and 8mW, respectively. This report makes a first step for future fabrication and evaluation stage. |
