Proposal and Performance Evaluation of DTN Routing Protocol Aiming at Saving and Uniformization of Battery Level

(in English) On large-scale disasters, the cellular network faults may be caused . DTN can transfer data without using the infrastructure based networks. Sending data in DTN uses Store-Carry-Forward method. This method is that a node stores sending data and when it encounters another node, it replicates the data to another node. All nodes repeat same process until data reach a destination node. On the situation, power failure of nodes is expected. In such an environment, transmissions considering power consumption are required to sustain the network. In this paper, we propose the DTN routing protocol considering power consumption. Furthermore, we compared performance of the proposed method with conventional methods by simulation. The simulation results show usefulness of the proposed method.
