| (in English) | We have developed a method for the secure communication of a short message via the partial synchronization of intermittently coupled nonidentical star networks of chaotic oscillators. Our cryptographic method can also be used for the secure distribution of a secret key for a cryptosystem and belongs to neither conventional secret-key cryptography nor public-key cryptography, being a new category of cryptography. It is robust against eavesdropper attacks since the chaotic signals intermittently exchanged between a sender and receiver contain no plaintext. The message to be transmitted is retrieved by the receiver by observing the synchronization error of each subsystem of the network oscillator. | |
