On automatic configuration and update of a transmittable area of information floating in a road network

(in English) By permitting mobile nodes to transmit information only in areas called Transmittable Areas (TAs), we can deliver information to mobile nodes in and around TAs without disordered diffusion of information. This method is called Information Floating (IF). A method to automatically configure the size of a TA has been proposed. This method measures and shares distances between mobile nodes, and automatically updates the TA based on the distances. The method was studied and evaluated in a one-dimensional road. In this report, we extend this method to a new method that can be used in a road network including an intersection, and evaluate the new method by computer simulation.
