Analysis of Learners' Trend Using Visualization Tool for Programming Process

(in English) In recent years, Learning Analytics (LA) attracts attention as a big data utilization in education. LA is an attempt to improve educational methods on an evidence basis by collecting and analyzing usage history. Also, LA is applied to programming learning. In this paper, we conducted an experiment and analyze to gather learner's programming process in detail using the tools developed by the authors. As a result of the analysis, the programming process of the learner can be classified into several patterns. Also, the tendency of students who are apt to stall is also revealed.
