An Edge Server Allocation Method based on ILP for Packet Filtering in Edge Computing

(in English) This study introduces a proposed method for the resource allocation problem on edge servers by extending a integer linear programming problem from the discussion on physical resource and delay time in edge computing. The proposed method defines the constraints on the user assignment to edge server and selection of data center for the destination from the edge server. From the evaluation result, the proposed method improves the situation on the resource allocation problem in comparison with the conventional method by showing a 40% decrease in delay time and a 10% reduction in network load.
