Optimal Resource Allocation Based on Backhaul Link Bandwidth and User Fairness for Heterogeneous Networks

(in English) In this paper, we propose an optimal resource allocation based on backhaul link bandwidth and userfairness for HetNet environment. In our proposed method, we formulate two optimization problems; one is arouting and bandwidth allocation problem and the other is a frequency allocation problem. At first, in order tomaximize the bandwidth in the backhaul, we determine the routing and the link bandwidth of each BS by solvingthe routing and bandwidth allocation problem. Then, in order to maximize the amount of traffic, we determinethe allocation of frequency slots to UEs by solving the frequency allocation problem. We solve these optimizationproblems with genetic algorithm,and we evaluate the performance of our proposed method with simulation.
