Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The IceCube telescope revealed that high energy neutrinos are coming from space. To explore the higher energy region above 10 PeV, the ARA telescope is currently being built at the South Pole. To construct the telescope that covers a larger area with a reasonable expense, ARA utilizes antennas to detect radio signals generated when neutrinos interact with matters. The understanding of the antennas is crucial to reconstruct the arrival direction and the energy of neutrino events. Therefore, we utilized a large anechoic chamber A-METLAB owned by the Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere to understood the characteristics of ARA antennas in detail and to reconstruct neutrino events correctly.
