| (in English) | Identical gray level is assigned to regions which have same lightness in usual grayscale conversion and these regions cannot be distinguished in a grayscale image. To cope with this problem, a grayscale conversion method which guarantees that an output image has enough contrast by using vertex coloring of graph has been proposed. In this report, an expansion of the method is proposed. First, construction method of graph is improved to expand types of images which the grayscale conversion method can deal. Second, usage of a vertex coloring result is modified to improve quality of an output image. | |
