Failure Probability Estimation based on Observation Information of Individual Network Equipment

(in English) As the communication traffic increases due to the spread of IoT (Internet of Things) and the progress of
fifth generation wireless communication (5 G), optical communication networks supporting various network services as social infrastructure are required. As the multi-vendor of the optical transmission devices constituting the access metro network has progressed, there is a risk that the failure rate of the system as a whole will increase due to the specification difference of the component devices. In order to deal with the risk of failure, we consider the long-term failure probability estimation of each device and high available routing based on the estimated failure probability based on the observation information of the equipment making up the network. In this paper, failure probability is modeled as a function on time using observation information such as aged deterioration. As the evaluation, we describe the result of verifying how it can be applied to the distribution deviating from the assumed distribution in modeling.
