We have been investigating the signal interface for readout of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SSPDs) using adiabatic quantum-flux-parametron (AQFP). AQFP can be serially driven by alternative current, so the amount of bias current for driving AQFP does not increase even if the circuit scale increases. AQFP is a promising candidate for the readout interface for SSPD arrays. In this study, we investigate the input current sensitivity of AQFP interfaces systematically. The output line of SSPD was divided into two; one is connected to the AQFP interface and another is directly readout by room temperature electronics. By comparing the output counts from these two readout channels, we estimate the input signal sensitivity of AQFP interface. We observed the output signals via the AQFP interface even when the bias current for the SSPD was reduced down to 10 $mu$A. This result means that the AQFP interface can detect the signal current of approximately 5 $mu$A because the half of the bias current flows to AQFP interface. |
