Experiments converting the microwave power to the DC power were carried out using a transmission line feedback class F oscillator with a bipolar transistor. Harmonics up to 4th order are treated with open stubs in the oscillator. The oscillator with the oscillation frequency of 2.45GHz was designed. The maximum collector efficiency of 46% was obtained with experiments of the prototyped oscillator. The microwave power at a frequency of 2.45GHz equal to the oscillation frequency was converted to the DC power with the maximum conversion efficiency of 53%. |
