Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Information Floating is a method to deliver information without disordered diffusion by permitting mobile nodes to transmit information by direct wireless communication only in areas called Transmittable Areas. As an application, Information Floating can be used as an sensor network to collect and store spatial information. This idea can be used to collect, store and share information on available routes in disaster situations. In this report, we theoretically evaluate performance of information storage by Information Floating in a one-dimensional service area.
