Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the past years, robots worked in very restricted area such as industrial factory for a certain purposes and
also isolated from communication network. In recent years, robots have become more proactive devices
who learn environmental factors autonomously by sensors and do a variety of jobs, called “service-robot”.
Robots exchange variety of information and knowledge through communication network and sometimes co-work harmoniously with human beings and other robots. It becomes more important to keep security for service robot systems from potential cyber-attacks. However, there is few security guideline which focus on service robot, though there are series of guidelines for industrial control systems.
In this paper, we introduce case studies for typical security threats possibly happen in service robot systems, and identify potential security issues in IoT devices.
