| (in English) | Copyright infringement such as illegal copying and uploading video contents frequently happen in many video distribution services. Video watermarking is known as one of the solutions for this problem. In this paper, we propose a new method of video watermarking using persistent homology. Persistent homology is an application domain of homology which is one of a field of algebra. It focuses on the condition of circles which are extracted from figures. We characterize existence of circles from video frames, and embed data to manipulate the birth-time and death-time of the circles in consecutive frames. We show that the proposed method can defend embedded data against various attacks to examine decoding rate and PSNR. Furthermore, we propose the improved method by considering experimental results and show the usefulness of that. |
