Fabric rental towels used in restaurants and medical facilities need to be checked for dirt, tears and foreign matter in order to guarantee product quality.
However, in the shooting environment when inspecting dirt and tears by image processing, the resolution of the image is not sufficient for the thickness of the hair.
Therefore, it is difficult to inspect the hair by the conventional algorithm.
In this paper, we propose a hair extraction algorithm that uses correlation with density profiles to extract hair in low resolution images without changing the shooting environment.
The proposed method is relatively robust to noise and blur, and shows that hair is extracted. |
