FPGA offload of TAP function for virtual network analysis

(in English) In recent years, analysis of packets in virtual networks has attracted attention in order to improve the operation and security of data centers. As the use of virtual machines progresses, the packets to be analyzed are becoming more important in addition to physical interfaces and virtual interfaces. However, high-bandwidth virtual networks in recent years consume many CPU cores for replication and analysis, which puts pressure on computing. Therefore, in this paper, we offload packet transfer and replication to FPGA, and propose a high performance and highly efficient virtual network analysis platform.
