[Poster Presentation] Estimation of Arrival Signal Number Based on Received Power Using Machine Learning

(in English) MUSIC, AIC, MDL, etc. are examined as conventional methods for estimating the direction of arrival and the number of signals using array antenna. In these methods, complex reception vectors are used, which is composed of the amplitude and phase of the received signal at each antenna element. Therefore, components for measuring the amplitude and phase for each antenna element are required. In addition, it is expected to simplify the element configuration of antennas used in directions of arrival estimation and radio wave propagation measurement using machine learning.
In this paper, we propose a method for estimating the number of incoming waves using machine learning as input data with the received power. In the proposed method, simpler circuits configuration can be used than the antenna configuration used in the conventional direction-of-arrival estimation and arrival signal number estimation. The influence of each parameter on the estimation accuracy is clarified.
