Extending Microwave Communication with the Application of Microwave Auditory Effect from Unidirectional to Bidirectional Communications
Makoto Koike (MK Microwave) RCS2019-201
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The microwave communication with the application of the microwave auditory effect enables to directly transmit speech onto the head of a recipient, and this telecommunication is unidirectional. In view of convenience, it is favorable to extend the unidirectional to bidirectional communications. Herein I report the communicative framework in US Patent No. 7150715, which enables bidirectional communications. The communication framework involves an anti-personnel radar and includes a transmitter for irradiating a microwave beam onto the head of a recipient, a receiver for receiving the reflection from the head so as to demodulate an EEG data in the reflection, and a computer for decoding the EEG data into a speech signal.
