Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) People who are blind or visually impaired, such as amblyopia, are
restricted in various behaviors compared to sighted people, especially
in an unfamiliar environment. Therefore, we will conduct research on a
system that supports guidance in toilets that are particularly
inconvenient for visually impaired people. In this experiment, we
measured the inside of the toilet with a range sensor and examined
usage status recognition, and implemented a
communication method for visually handicapped people using mobile
devices.
