In order to realize high realistic audio using sound field reproduction technology, it is necessary to create a virtual sound source at the intended positions. In this research, we propose a method for estimating a virtual source position in the sound field synthesized by a frame loudspeaker array. The synthesized sound field is observed at four vertices of the regular tetrahedron and their central position. The virtual source position was estimated using the arrival time difference of the sound wave between each vertex position and the center position. As a result, we could estimate the direction, however there were still some problems with the distance estimation. |
