Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is a serious problem to decrease system throughput due to interference in an environment where a number of IoT (Internet of Things) systems using the same frequency and obeying different standards coexist in a dedicated area such as a factory.
We have already proposed the Dual Clear to Send (Dual-CTS) method to improve system throughput by realizing spatial reuse.
The spatial reuse means that the node in a system uses the same frequency resource at the same time, in a range where itself does not interfere with other systems.
In the proposed method, to realize the spatial reuse, a gateway of one system broadcasts a modified CTS (Dual-CTS) that is a compound of conventional CTS and a pCTS that can be demodulated by the nodes of the other system.
The pCTS includes information about transmission power.
In this paper, we evaluate the system throughput in the proposed method to confirm the effect of spatial reuse.
The computer simulation result shows that the system throughout in the proposed method is improved by 2.1 times from that in conventional Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) with Request to Send (RTS) /CTS method.
