Eigen Electromagnetic Characteristics of Surface Electromagnetic Waves and Plasmon Modes in Conducting Plate Waveguides

(in English) Guided waves in the conducting guides and conducting lines are the electromagnetic surface waves and the fundamental transmission fields in the frequency bands of the direct current field, low frequency and ,millimeter wave band, and further, the optical wave band. The conducting guide characteristics of metals are fundamental properties of the currents and electromagnetic field transmissions.
Here, eigen electromagnetic field characteristics of the surface electromagnetic waves in the frequency bands of the direct current field, low frequency and, millimeter wave band consisting of the free electron flows in the conducting guides, and further, the plasmon modes in the optical band consisting of the free electron flows and the bounded electrons are shown. Based on the eigen electromagnetic fields characteristics, the fundamental properties of the Green’s functions in the conducting guides for the electromagnetic surface waves and the plasmon modes are discussed. The Green’s functions are very important for analysis of boundary problems in the complicated conducting guides. In this paper, for fundamental problems of the conducting guides, eigen electromagnetic field characteristics and the Green’s functions in the conducting plate guides and the conducting plate lines in the two dimension spaces are studied.
