Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Approximate message passing (AMP), originally proposed in the field of compressed sensing, is applicable to detection of received signals in a massive MIMO system, and it has been reported that good detection performance can be obtained with a low computation complexity. However, in the case of a channel model with spatial correlation, the detection performance is greatly degraded. In this paper, we propose to apply the node selection method to the AMP algorithm that sequentially updates adjacent nodes with high correlation on the transmitting and/or receiving sides. In addition, in the update formula in the AMP algorithm, we show that it is necessary to multiply the observation rate by a certain coefficient when selecting a node, and consider the optimal coefficient. The simulation results show that the detection performance is greatly improved by applying node selection even when there is a spatial correlation.
