With recent development in communication technology, the number of devices connected to a network is increasing, and security in communication devices becomes more important. In addition, IoT devices become popular, but security in IoT devices becomes a serious issue. To reduce risks of security in such devices, network administrators should know the detail information of all devices connected in the network and control the devices. Recent studies related to device identification technology are based on port numbers, statistical information on communication traffic, and payloads. However, to identify many kinds of devices with using only such information is difficult. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the overall accuracy of device identification, based on multiple identification methods. |
