Implementation of an FPGA-based energy-efficient MCMC method for 2D Lenz-Ising model

(in English) MCMC methods are arguably one of the most useful sampling methods. MCMC while being very useful and practical remains a very costly tool to use. Recently, many researchers are focusing on improving the efficiency of MCMC methods. In this research, by implementing a very simple MCMC method on FPGA, we demonstrate that FPGA-based MCMC algorithm is efficient as compared to CPU implementations.
