Aerial ultrasonic waves are known to induce vibrations of the particles present in the air and cause aggregation due to collisions between the particles, which may be effective for particles such as PM2.5. The authors have developed an ultrasonic sound source with a structure suitable for this purpose in order to increase the efficiency of agglomeration by aerial ultrasound. In this study, the aggregation rate during ultrasonic and the concentration change during agglomeration, The particle size distribution was measured by changing the input power to the sound source and the air flow rate to the coagulation chamber. The agglomeration rate increases as the inflow volume decreases. |
