Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The presence of attention (physical attention) that is potentially directed to the vicinity of the body has been pointed out. In this study, we investigated the effects of body movement on physical attention by measuring attention using the flash lag effect. Since the flash lag effect (FLE) decreases with attention, it can be used to estimate the attention effect. We examined whether the physical attention directed to the hand around the hand moving with the dominant hand and the non-handed hand and the hand with the stationary hand changed by movement. Since the flash lag effect was reduced in the dominant hand movement condition compared to the others, it was suggested that the physical attention was greater around the hand that moved and that the dominant hand became more attention.
