Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we evaluate influence of a prediction horizon with combinatorial approach of the model predictive control (MPC) of dc-dc converters. In generally, responsiveness and stability of the model predictive control are affected by the prediction horizon. In addition, one of the problems of DC-DC converters using model predictive control is heavy computation burden. First, we propose a reduction of computation burden method that considers control and switching periods. Next, the characteristics when the influence of prediction horizon are evaluated using a step-down DC-DC converter in simulation study.
