| (in English) | Recently, various kinds of the wireless system such as a smartphone, a tablet, and Wi-Fi has increasingly spread. It is required to miniaturize the devices to enhance portability and convenience. Therefore, it is essential to design antennas with compact size. In this paper, we proposed a circular plane-loaded antenna using a shorting wall in order in the small antenna competition, which is the competition competing for the technique of miniaturizing antennas. Firstly, a principle of operation of the proposed antenna is illustrated based on the analysis results of each element. Then, we show analysis results and measurement results of its characteristics such as a reflection coefficient, an impedance, and a radiation pattern. It is reported to calculate the realized gain based on the competition’s rule by these results. | |
