In an inductive power transfer (IPT) system consisting of one transmitting coil and one receiving coil, series resonant capacitors are inserted to both the transmitter side and the receiver side to achieve high power transmission efficiency and load-independent constant current. However, when IPT is carried out from multiple transmitting coils to multiple receiving coils, the load currents become instable against the load resistance variations. Therefore, in this study, 2x2 series resonant circuits with a constant load current is designed assuming a system consisting of two transmitter coils and two receiver coils. Effectiveness of the proposed scheme is confirmed by electromagnetic field simulations. |
