Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In our project, a database of the real-time magnetic resonance images (rtMRI) is constructed from FY 2017. It is difficult to measure articulatory movement, because of less sampling rate. In this paper, rtMRI data taken at a twice sampling rate were analyzed. In addition, rtMRI data of a slow utterance were analyzed. The relationship between motion change of each vocal organ and speech spectrum was investigated. The purpose of
this study is to examine how slow utterance affects articulatory movements. As a result, when speaking slowly, the movement change of the tongue region was synchronized with the phoneme change. These results suggest that slow
utterance changes control of articulatory movement.
