A consideration on capability of information floating to accumulate data

(in English) In Information Floating, mobile nodes transmit data to other mobile nodes by direct wireless communication only in transmittable areas. The mobile nodes can deliver data to mobile nodes preventing unnecessary diffusion of data without any assists of infrastructures by repeating such direct wireless transmissions. While Information Floating has been considered as a method to deliver data, it has been shown that Information Floating has capability to collect and accumulate spatial data. As an application of the new capability, Information Floating can be used for collection, accumulation and delivery of data of available routes in disaster situations. In this report, we show that backup of data is automatically made and recovery of lost data is automatically realized based on the backup in the application of Information Floating to accumulation of data of available routes. We show some properties based on some computer simulation results.
