Automatic Composition of Music using Deep Learning

(in English) Automatic composition of music is a classical research topic in computer science. Many techniques have been proposed in the past. Among them, automatic composition based on deep learning is a recent trend. However, two major problems have been pointed out for the AI approach: (1) Generated music is similar to the training data; and (2) Main theme is missing from the output. In this research, we propose a system to solve these issues. We have implemented a prototype and evaluated it to show the possibility that new musical insights can be found from existing musical corpus.
