To achieve highly efficient spectrum usage, we propose a novel spectrum management scheme to realize Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) between the fifth-generation mobile communication system (5G) and different radio services, i.e. broadcasting services, etc.. In this proposed DSS system, the same spectrum resource is used at the same time and location without major interference. The intended DSS system employs "Unused Sharable Spectrum (USS) Detection" which detects unused sharable spectrum resources that are not used with high spatial accuracy. The Shared Spectrum Management System (SS-MS) dynamically and fairly allocates USS that changes over time. The USS utilization aspect of the proposed DSS system realizes dense and highly efficient utilization of spectrum for more effective usage of the USS. |
