Throughput Evaluation of Dual-CTS Method for Spatial Reuse in Heterogeneous IoT Systems

(in English) A heterogeneous wireless IoT system is assumed to be used where several wireless subsystems with different standards using the same frequency coexist in a narrow space such as a factory.
In the heterogeneous wireless IoT system, interference from micro-cell system ($mu$System) to pico-cell system (pSystem) decreases the pSystem throughput.
We have proposed a Dual Clear to Send (Dual-CTS) method as an access control method to improve each subsystem throughput by Spatial Reuse.
Spatial Reuse is defined as the communication of pSystem Node (pNode), where cannot interfere $mu$System, using the same time and the same frequency resources as $mu$Node uses.
In the Dual-CTS method, $mu$System GW ($mu$GW) does not broadcast only conventional CTS but also special CTS for pNode (pCTS) after receiving RTS.
The pCTS enables pNode to act Spatial Reuse.
Although calculation and simulation with simple model shows the Spatial Reuse effect, these result are available in limited situation.
In this paper, we evaluate each subsystem throughput in Dual-CTS method in the various situation (e.g. changing traffic model and node position).
