Discreteness Aware Receiver Design and Antenna Configuration for Distributed MIMO

(in English) In this paper, we investigate a receiver design for uplink distributed-MIMO networks composed of a common central base station serving multiple single-antenna uplink users with the aid of synchronous access points subject to limited fronthaul links.
Concretely, we incorporate an emerging concept for efficient detection of finite alphabet signaling, referred to as discreteness-awareness, proposing a new accelerated algorithm based on proximal splitting and latent semantic analysis enabling to compress signal dimensions.
Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method in comparison with the conventional zero-forcing detection.
