| (in English) | An weakly nonlinear propagation of plane progressive pressure waves in initially quiescent water containing spherical gas bubbles with a polydispersity is theoretically investigated. By using the method of multiple scales, we perform a perturbation analysis up to the second order for governing equations incorporating a polydispersity (i.e., nonuniformity) of bubble radius. As a result, we can derive a KdV-Burgers equation containing an advection term due to the polydispersity. | |
