In recent years,optical networks have become widespread with the development of optical technology,and research and development on optical packet switching are being conducted with the aim of more efficient use of bandwidth. In this paper,we propose a spatial channel resource selection method for inhibiting packet loss in space division multiplexing based optical packet switching (SDM-OPS) network.We clarified that the proposed method improves the packet loss probability by simulation,and examined the fundamental functions of spatial channel switching in the proposed method by using a testbed. |
