Enormous volume introduction of photovoltaic (PV) generation has been promoted to mitigate global warming. In the introduction of PV system, which requires the broad area, it is necessary to increase the amount of the electric power generation per the installation area. The authors proposed three-dimensional Fibonacci number PV modules (FPMs), which are designed in part based on natural plant leaf arrangements (phyllotaxy), for increasing the amount of power generated per unit area. This paper describes the power generation characteristics of the power generation forests, used multiple honeycomb arrangement FPMs, by the simulation considering the shadows of next FPMs. The characteristics are compared with that of conventional planar configuration PV panels. |
