Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, telecommunication carriers have been using automated systems such as workflow engines(WFE) to improve business efficiency. The maintenance of carrier networks manages from tens of thousands to several tens of thousands of pieces of NW equipment to serve millions of customers. Therefore, multiple faults of NW equipment may occur simultaneously, in mutual information coordination and processes aggregation between multiple failure responses (aggregation associated with coordination between responses) may be necessary. For example, if multiple pieces of NW equipment are out of order in the same building, from the point of view of transport costs and efficiency of on-site operation, the operator may aggregate spare machine delivery arrangements into one. However, it is assumed that the failure response process (WF), which is performed by the WFE, operates independently, this makes it difficult to define behaviors that require information coordination between WFs, such as the aggregation of spare equipment arrangements, which is an obstacle to automation. In this paper, we propose a method to aggregate the processes of multiple WFs by determining the WFs to be aggregated based on the rules and timers that are common to all the WFs and the timers that are activated for each rule. With this method, we achieve to automate the operator's aggregation associated with coordination between responses in the workflow engine.
