Synchronous Optical CDMA Scheme Using Modified Prime Sequence Code and Its Inverted Code

(in English) This paper proposes a synchronous optical code-division multiple access (CDMA) scheme using a modified prime sequence code (MPSC) and its inverted code simultaneously. Several optical CDMA schemes using either an MPSC or an inverted MPSC have been proposed in previous studies. However, an optical CDMA scheme using an MPSC and an inverted MPSC simultaneously has not been reported so far. This paper shows that the known cancellation scheme, such as Shalaby's scheme, cancels multi-user interference even if the scheme uses these two codes simultaneously.
