Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In long-distance UAV networks composed of multiple UAVs, wireless links may cover several hundred kilometers. The network throughput considerably decreases in the long-distance networks with CSMA/CA network due to long propagation delay. The conventional work has proposed a TDMA-based communication scheme to reduce the impact of the propagation delay in UAV communication. In the scheme, however, only one communication is allocated to one slot, which restricts the network throughput. This paper proposes a TDMA scheduling enhancing slot reuse for multi-hop UAV communication. The simulation result shows the proposed method achieves the throughput improvement.
