We carry out investigation on the precision phase measurement with three-photon in Mach-Zehnder interferometer by injecting a weak coherent and a two-photon state generated from a spontaneous parametric down conversion both in theory and experiment. The phase sensitivity in this system is quantified as a function of the amplitude ratio of between coherent and two-photon state. It shows that the phase sensitivity reaches the Heisenberg limit when an optimal amplitude ratio is chosen. The quantified method implies a fundamental connection between standard quantum limit and Heisenberg limit and it may be extended to quantitatively describe precision phase with other arbitrary photon number.
