In this paper, we have focused especially on pupil diameter to discover the relationship between mental workload. By using a visual search task created, we measured how the features of pupil diameter changes to ten subjects when having mental workload. To evaluate how much mental workload they have gained, we used a sys- tematic evaluation index called NASA-TLX and analysed them by combining data of answer rate and difficulty. As a result, we have discovered that the difference of difficulty among questions, brings a big influence on a larger height of pupil diameter. Moreover, we have obtained time characteristics of pupil diameter with changes in experimental
stimulus. |
