It is important for the elderly to maintain a social network with family, friends and the community. However, the number of close friends decreases with age. In order to maintain the network of elderly who live apart from their family and friends, remote co-eating communication systems have been proposed in which they connect with each other. However, it is difficult to find appropriate time for co-eating at the same time unless information of the partner's life pattern and the situation at that time are shared. Therefore, we propose a system that supports real-time remote co-eating. The sensors of the system estimate meal preparation status, cooking progress status, and eating behavior status, and from the information, the smart speaker agent negotiates the start of eating together with both users. We introduce agent’s dialogue design between the agent and users. Finally results of preliminary experimental investigations are shown that will contribute the system design. |
