An experiment of a 461.25 [MHz] radio wave wireless power transfer

(in English) This paper reports results of an experiment about 461.25 [MHz] radio wave wireless power transfer. The authors anticipate the moving to higher frequencies in broadcasting and communications and the shortage of the ISM band, and try to construct a WPT system using white space bands. The operation frequency 416.25 [MHz] is selected because it is close to it for an analog TV broadcasting. Our proposed rectenna is installed a folded triangular loop planar antenna and an E class rectifier. An experiment with a 14 elements Yagi-Uda antenna as a transmitting one reveals that transmission efficiency is about 1.5 [%] and angular width is about 46 [deg] for our proposed rectenna.
