Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, artificial agents have helped our everyday lives, such as a smart speaker. Investigating interaction design is important, which users become to involve with them actively, and mimicry called the chameleon effect is one of appropriate methodologies. This study investigated the effects of speech mimicry by a smart speaker on impressions and prosocial behaviors. the Results through the online experiment showed that the mimicry was unlikely to affect them because participants focused on the function which provides a lot of useful information. In future work, for discussing the effects of speech mimicry by a smart speaker, we should revise one-sided conversations and indices of prosocial behaviors.
