The development of non-destructive inspection and non-invasive diagnosis devices using electromagnetic waves is desired in various industrial fields. We are investigating the reconstruction of the electric constant distribution using the FBTS method, which is one of the methods for solving the electromagnetic wave inverse scattering problem. The FBTS method is a method for estimating the medium constant of an object in an exploration area by irradiating electromagnetic wave pulses on the area and observing the scattering field. Since the FBTS method can reconstruct the electric constants, it can identify not only the presence or absence of an object and its shape, but also the type of the object. However, the disadvantage of the FBTS method is that it requires an enormous amount of computation time. In order to reduce the estimation time, the time-shift FBTS method, in which the incident current source is time-shifted and applied continuously, was proposed. It is also known that the reconstruction accuracy changes when the incidence order of the pulses of the transmitting antennas arranged in a circle is changed. In this study, we discuss the incidence order of the wave sources to improve the reconstruction accuracy in the T-FBTS method. The noise tolerance of the method is also clarified. |
