Analysis of behaviors by students in cooperative learning for video lectures (Fifth report)

(in English) In this report, we propose a model for evaluating the interaction between behaviors of students and quantify the strength of the influence between the students for the collaborative learning (teaching for the contents of the video lecture) by the students after taking the video lecture. First, we introduce (i) the method of detecting the behaviors (face and hand movement) of students by using image processing, and (ii) the method of detecting the behaviors (head movement) of students by the glasses-type device. Next, we propose a method for modeling the interaction in the behaviors of students considering the timing of utterance based on the multi-layered neural network. Finally, we discuss the analysis results for a certain case.
